Live orders board
Every order lands on the board the moment it is placed, and status changes update it in place. Searchable, filterable, and made to stay open on a second screen.
Think Shopify's Live View, for WooCommerce. Your store as it happens: a live orders board for your team, live and abandoned carts, and stock that updates on product pages the moment it changes. No page reloads.
< The board />
Your store as it happens: who is on the storefront, what is in their carts, and every order the moment it is placed.
A demo store, running the way the real board does: under WooCommerce > Analytics > Realtime, with nothing to refresh.
The storefront side is real: shopsocket.wpsignal.io is a live store running ShopSocket. Open a product in two browsers and add it to the cart.
< Setup />
ShopSocket uses the connection WordSocket already holds. Activate it and the store is live.
Install WordSocket and WooCommerce, then connect WordSocket to your WPSignal account. ShopSocket rides on that connection.
Install ShopSocket from the WordPress.org plugin directory and activate it. Product pages, the shop, and the cart start updating on their own; there is nothing to configure.
Find Realtime under WooCommerce > Analytics. Turn the sound on, go full screen, and let it run.

Every order lands on the board the moment it is placed, and status changes update it in place. Searchable, filterable, and made to stay open on a second screen.
A cart is live while its shopper is on the site and abandoned the instant they leave. No timestamps, no guessing: the connection itself is the signal.
Which products are in carts right now, how many carts hold each, and how many units. Every name links to its edit screen.
Availability text, the add-to-cart button, and shop-page buttons follow inventory as it changes, on classic and block themes alike.
A shopper holding a product that sells out hears at once, wherever they are, and the cart shows WooCommerce's own notice without a reload.
Availability, units left, and how many shoppers hold a product, as one block for the Single Product template or any page.
Yes: shopsocket.wpsignal.io is a live demo store running ShopSocket. Open a product in two browsers, or a normal and a private window, and add it to the cart in one. The other shows the new count, and a shopper already holding it gets a toast. The demo shows the storefront; the staff board lives in wp-admin, which is why the board on this page is an animation.
WooCommerce, WordSocket 0.23 or newer, and a WPSignal account. Everything realtime goes through the WordSocket connection your site already has, so there is no second service to set up.
Stock that updates in place, a count of how many other shoppers hold the same product, a small toast when someone else adds it, and a notice the moment something in their cart sells out. Nothing identifies another shopper.
Orders, with their totals and customer names, travel on a staff-only channel that only users who manage WooCommerce can read, and the payload is encrypted before it leaves WordPress. Carts are tracked by a keyed hash, never by a name or an email.
Yes. The storefront features bind to the classic templates and to the Product Price and Product Stock Indicator blocks. For markup that is yours to place, add the Live Stock block to the Single Product template or any page.
No. ShopSocket is an independent WooCommerce plugin, not affiliated with or endorsed by Shopify. We compare it to Shopify's Live View because that is the view store owners moving from Shopify ask for most. Shopify is a trademark of Shopify Inc.
Every feature is a filter: shopsocket_publish_stock, shopsocket_activity_enabled, shopsocket_in_carts_enabled, and shopsocket_storefront. Return false from your theme or a small plugin and that feature is gone.
Get started
Create a WPSignal account, connect WordSocket, and activate ShopSocket. The board is waiting under Analytics.
