Frequently asked questions

Do I need a credit card to sign up?

No. The free plan requires no payment information.

What counts as a message?

Every event published to the server counts as one message. WebSocket relay and Yjs collaboration frames also count. The limit resets at the start of each calendar month.

What happens if I reach my monthly message limit?

Publishing pauses for the rest of the month. Your site stays connected and open sessions stay open, but new events stop being delivered until the limit resets on the first of next month.

What counts as a site?

Each WordPress install you connect. Local and staging copies of a site you have already connected will not count towards your limit, so you can develop and test without spending your allowance. This is rolling out now.

Are connection limits per site or per account?

Per site. Each registered site has its own concurrent connection allowance independent of your other sites.
